DallasNews.com | Dallas-Fort Worth | Local News: Collin County: "The Plano Independent School District could be facing another free speech lawsuit, just a month after settling one with parents for $400,000.
This time, a candy cane pen with a religious message might take the district back to court.
Attorneys for a Plano-based religious rights organization said they plan to file a lawsuit Thursday unless district officials change their minds about what a Plano student can pass out at his class's holiday party on Friday. "
